What’s going on:
Mind reading is assuming people don’t like you or assuming that you know how they feel about you (and assuming it’s negative), without any real evidence.
Example:
You might say things like, nobody likes me.
Similar example: “I know they are talking about me right now. They are thinking about how weird I look.”
Replace with:
Realise that no one can read minds and one can never really know what others are thinking unless they say it.
