In line with the NHS white paper, “Integration and Innovation: working together to improve health and social care for all” the includmi wellbeing app facilitates an inclusive rebalancing across the education assessment system, which currently focuses almost exclusively on academic attainment, to give greater parity to mental health and wellbeing and SEND.
Includmi supports and equips children, young people their parents and families, to recognise and articulate their mental health, wellbeing and wider support needs.
Includmi provides access to appropriate and timely support at the earliest opportunity to improve mental and emotional wellbeing and reduce the risk of escalating need.
Includmi increases pupil safety by easily identifying and escalating the treatment of those at risk
The system comprehensively captures the voices and experiences of children, young people and their families and carers in order for the community and regional economy to “build back better” as part of Local Transformation Plans.
Includmi evidences collaborative practice with children, young people and families involving schools; the use of evidence-based interventions; and regular feedback of outcome monitoring to children, young people and families in session and supervision.
Includmi will help local professionals from across the NHS, public health, children’s services in local authorities, education and youth justice to identify needs, inform decision making about priorities for action, and evaluate the success of their efforts. This aligns with local transformation plans for Children and Young People’s Mental Health (CYPMH).
